Life is filled with questions, answers, trials, lessons, beauty, wonder, pain, joy, darkness, light, inspiration, sadness and so much greater. All of these can be
foundin everyday experiences, it is only a matter of perspective. Pain and fear can keep us stuck in a place, even paralyzed. Perspective can free us from
eventhe darkest depths where as soon as we may have drowned. Utilizing the step back and take a look at any particular piece of our lives offers us a chance
tobe more attentive towards the gifts within the sorrow. Renewed perspective can fill us with renewed hope and peace instead of trapping us under the giant
thumbof fear.

Being from a valley of cattle and dairy farms, it isn’t uncommon to view newborn calves, which of course I really enjoy. When I then saw another newborn calf
onits first day not long after, every single day that was hot and dry, I couldn’t help but wonder how differently associated with little calves would be aware of the
world.Maybe they wouldn’t actually ponder over it. They’d be happy just drinking their mother’s milk and caught as baby animals do.
