One great thing about living in Knickerbocker Village in the 70’s and 80’s was that there was never an ordinary moment. Something was always happening, for

This trail starts in the far side of Fallen Leaf Lakeside. The drive around the lake is quite spectacular, which have amazing views of Mount Tallac the entire
way.The trail ascends a gorge that eventually leads about Desolation Wild. Some people use this trail as a starting point for climbing Mount Tallac. (It is much
easierthan starting at the Mount Tallac Trailhead) Therefore you aren’t climbing Tallac, you should follow the trail around Desolation. You will be immersed in
themountain wonderland.
